My name is Julia, and I am 26 years old. I'm married to my knight in blue jeans, Michael. I am a Freelance Writer/Proofreader/Editor, and a homemaker. More on all of that below.
I was born in New York, and moved to Florida when I was 9 years old, and lived there up until our wedding, except for 2 years in university in Tennessee. After taking some time off from college to re-evaluate my life, I transferred back to Florida, finished my final year of college, and graduated in December 2002, with a Bachelor's degree in English.
After my graduation and our January 2003 wedding, I moved to Texas with Michael, who has lived in Texas for most of his life, and was already working there as a Field Service Technician in industrial computers. He amazes me!!! In the meantime, I am working at home, enjoying being a Freelance Writer/Proofreader/Editor, and homemaker!

Hmm, what else to share? I love writing, this much we all know...I also love to sing, and have been involved in choirs and singing competitions for much of my life. I love Winnie-the-Pooh, the classic A.A. Milne creation. Reading is one of my favorite pasttimes, as is watching movies and television with my loving husband. I love spending time with my family and friends - they mean the world to me!!!
Oh, by the way, I am a Christian, and believe that it's more than a religion, but a personal relationship with God. I have been blessed to see and experience many things, good and bad, in my lifetime, and have been changed by those things.
For instance, I went to Ghana, West Africa, on a mission trip with Teen Mania Ministries when I was just 16 years old. What an experience! It still leaves me reeling...that I actually went there!

The Story Behind "Savedbygrace"
For those who know me from the Christian chatroom and wonder how I got the nickname, Savedbygrace, here's the story, Morning Glory!
When I was in 10th grade of high school I wore a school jacket (my choir jacket) with medals from competitions, as well as many buttons and pins. One particular button I had found at a a local bookstore, and it said:
"I am Saved by Grace"
Well, lo and behold, my obnoxiosly funny friend Jason decided that was my new name. (He always found some way to tease me and my friends. He loved playing with my maiden name, for those who know me in real life - because of my long maiden name and it's difficulty to pronounce.)
So, there I was, now known as Savedbygrace Kloogawhoosie. So when I first ventured into a Christian chatroom, it only seemed natural to use the nickname "Savedbygrace," which eventually morphed its way into "SBG" and "Saved," and now "Mrs. Kage_," because of my husband's nickname. So, now you know the story behind Savedbygrace!
